Research Journal of Phytomedicine (RJP) an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal published monthly. The aim of journal publish high quality original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of Medicinal plant research and phytopharmacy.

The Revista Brasileira de Plantas Medicinais (RBPM) was launched in October 1998 (v.1, n.1) as a biannual publication until 2003, and was published three times a year in 2004 and 2005. From 2006, it became a quarterly journal, publishing until August/2010 (v.12, n.3, 2010) 582 scientific papers, the majority of which are scientific articles, some reviews and a few preliminary notes. Since 2008, the Journal is also available at CAPES journals (www.periodicos.capes.gov.br) and at the portal of Summaries of Brazilian Journals, in the Multidisciplinary field (http://www.sumarios.org/ revista.asp?idrevista=271&idarea=9).
The Revista Brasileira de Plantas Medicinais covers the great areas of multidisciplinary study on medicinal plants, including Plant Anatomy and Morphology; Bioassays; Biotechnology; Genetic Resource Conservation; Ecophysiology; Ethnobotany; Ethnopharmacology; Pharmacognosis; Pharmacology; Plant Physiology; Phytochemistry; Plant Science; Phytotherapy, Food Technology and use of medicinal plants in Veterinary Medicine.
Its abbreviated title is Rev. bras. plantas med., which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes and bibliographical references and strips.

The Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy is a scientific journal edited and published by the Brazilian Society of Pharmacognosy, an association that brings together researchers, students and professionals who study and investigate the physical, chemical and biological drugs, especially those of vegetable origin, substances isolated and such as the potential source of drugs of natural origin. It is available in printed form for its members and subscribers and openly on the Internet in all your numbers and content. The articles published are original research contributions. To evaluate the work use is made of international standards and is held by the ad hoc advisers, which reflects the quality and credibility of the journal. The BJP is published since 1986.

Publishing scientific articles with updated information about the National Plan of Development of Medicinal Plant Research and the use of medicinal plants by the population. It is the official publication of the National Advisory Commission for Medicinal Plant Research of the Ministry of Public Health.

Journal Vitae's mission is the diffusion of the knowledge derived from researches and bibliographic reviews related to medicines, cosmetics, food and natural products, through publications of both national and international coverage.

VRI- Phytomedicine (VRI-PM) is an international scientific eJournal that publishes all areas of ethnopharmacology, ethnobotany, medicinal activities and plant biotechnology. It broadly accepts all the areas of plant sciences, i.e. ethnobotany, medicinal plants, activity, isolation of minerals, volatile oils and many more.

VRI- Phytomedicine publishes regular research papers, Letters to editor, Short Communications, Mini Reviews and Reviews that deals with all the aspects medicinal chemistry. VRI- Phytomedicine is encouraging scientists to publish experimental data in as elaborated as possible.

VRI- Phytomedicine will be published bimonthly (6 issues per year). VRI- Phytomedicine is the rapid peer reviewed publication system, which will allow faster reviewing and notify editorial decision rapidly.
